VegeCat KibbleMix makes it easier to prepare home-cooked cat kibble. Not only is it less expensive in the long run, but it saves a lot of time in the kitchen. Except for adding flour, all the dry ingredients are already mixed together. If you use VegeCat KibbleMix, you won't need to add VegeYeast since it is already in the formulation. All you need to add is: flour (any kind of wheat flour), oil, water, and tomato paste.
According to the manufacturer, the recipes included with this product meet all nutritional requirements according to the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO).
Please Note.
According to Hoana, the manufacturer of this product, don't serve dry food to cats with feline urinary disease (FLUTD). Also, please avoid serving dry kibble to male cats if they are susceptible to urinary blockage.
It is recommended to moisten the kibble before serving, especially to male cats.
To save money, we recommend buying most of the ingredients for the homemade cat food recipes, in the bulk section of a health food store. Use organic ingredients whenever possible.
Ingredients: Brewer's yeast (pH adjusted), vital wheat gluten, ascophyllum nodosum (source of archidonate), non-aluminum baking powder, calcium carbonate, dicalcium phosphate, taurine, DL-Methionine, choline chloride, Vitamin E (dl-alphaocopheryl acetate), zinc oxide, Vitamin A-acetate, Vitamin B-12, Vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol). All ingredients are from non-animal sources.
A 3 pound bag of VegeCat KibbleMix will last a 10 pound cat (4.5 kg) about 41 days. A 5 pound bag of VegeCat KibbleMix will last a 10 pound cat (4.5 kg) about 66 days.
